Can from day 24 of the Beer Republic Advent calendar, 9%, drink after routing the neck and MM cavities on the new bass. Packaged, i think June 2025, yikes. Light hazy gold, nice head, citrus nose with sharp and caramalt hints. Mandarine orange fits with the gator theme, big bitterness with a mild pleasant bite. Not too sweet. Good one despite its age - well it's imperial after all.

Can, 1$ off JR's clearance rack. Slight haze on a light orange tint pale gold beer. Nose of medium fresh green sticky pine spruce cones. First taste is somewhat fruity but that immediately disappears and a big hop bitterness continues to build. Not as mouth coating or viscous as expected, but it could use a little more co2. A mild warming sensation develops in the middle on the palate and down the throat. Boozy. Fruited tastes remain at the commencement of each swig. At least this makes it a little interesting compared to the diesel flavored impy IPAs I've done in the past. Yes, tho I don't care much for this or most any IPA, the fruity thing that hits the taste buds with each swig, combined with its mind numbing alky content, at least makes it worth while for beer rating tick. However, I would not buy it again; just saying, its more acceptable to most other domestic impy IPA. Almost comes across like a regular IPA.
