Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma is malt forward with lots of chocolate, honey, roast, graham cracker and toasted bread. Lighter notes of tobacco, leather and dark caramel. Hints of dark fruit. Light bourbon and faint oak notes. Pours jet black with a medium sized, thick, mocha head that recedes slowly to a small, thick film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and long legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with lots of chocolate, dark caramel, and treacle notes. Lighter notes of roast, honey and graham crackers. Moderately strong bitterness and medium light alcohol notes. Hints of tobacco, leather and dark fruit. Light bourbon and faint oak notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid eclipse. The aroma is too honey forward which lends itself to an aged, oxidized aroma but the flavor is much more malt forward and the honey takes a backseat. Not a ton of bourbon character, but enough to add a bit of complexity.

Waxed 500 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight, creamy tan head that left quickly. Aroma of bourbon and chocolate. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is bourbon, chocolate, heat and burnt malt. Not dry, but not sticky. Bitterness is uncertain - it's bitter and/or heat holding down the malt. Good flavor.
