Can from Beer 52 โ€“ drank at home. Pours a murky dark brown with a small tan head. The aroma has roasted malts, milk chocolate and hints of coffee and cough mixture. In the mouth it is smooth and creamy (almost chewy). Itโ€™s initially sweet but very quickly some ashy bitterness comes thorugh. Flavour of dark malts, chocolate and dark fruits. Finish is slightly dry and quite bitter. This is a very nice stout.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, with very fine cream foam. Aroma is coffee and licorice. Body is average, with quite a carbonation for a stout. Taste is medium sweet and roasty. Final is average.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Black body with ruby highlights and a thin beige head that fades. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and wood. Flavour of rust and cranberry. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Light and thin. I love Marble but itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve had a top quality beer from them.

Near-black brown beer, decent off white head. Malty smell. Lightly toasted malt in the flavour, some chocolate, a little creaminess and a touch of sweetness too. A fairly straightforward stout but very drinkable all the same.
