For our 10th collaboration with Deftones we wanted to throw it back to the beer that helped start it all, Phantom Bride IPA. dubbed the granddaddy of beer and music collabs, we spun up a refreshing new twist on the classic. We kept the original heart and soul of Phantom Bride but pumped it up with juicy and tropical notes to make a straight fire Hazy IPA. [ As Belching Beaver Hazy Phantom Bride (DDH Limited Edition) ].
ABV: 7,1%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, moderate hoppy, flowers, pine, citrus - grapefruit, grass, fruity hops, tangerine. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, pine, citrus, fruity hops - peach, grass, flowers, mandarin - tangerine, citrus - grapefruit, tangerine. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230323]

Can from Corti Bros. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma of tangerine and grapefruit. Med plus body. Flavor is moderately juicy/tropical. Mostly tangerine/grapefruit, but arguably melon and passion fruit as well. Dryer than expected. Nicely bitter - especially for a NEIPA. Flavor is strong and quite tasty. Good stuff.
