2022 bottle drunk 2/20/26.
Lovely, spicy rye whiskey is full and aromatic. Some oakiness and light tannic dryness but it never gets harsh. Fruity yeast isn't overbearing and there are no crude esters (since it's not a Belgian yeast, but rather an English). Rich and spicy with caramelized malt notes and just a rich, lovely, round whiskey for days. No alcohol noted.
Sweet and perhaps lightly sticky, but not too sweet, I don't think. Soft vanilla and toffee tones with fruity British yeast notes and a bit less whiskey intensity in the flavor than in the nose. Chocolate, toffee, vanilla, honey, mallow; good complexity, without any overt or sugary maple character. Some light breadiness, good whiskey spice and a general round, flavorful balance without any excessive sweetness or syrup. No alcohol noted in flavor, either.

Bottle.
A- Dark mahogny color, dark liquid, no head.
A- Booze, maple, malty.
F- Maple, rye, mild cinnamon, oak, mild booze.
T- Medium body, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, slightly boozy finish.
O- Nice maple throughout and some rye but otherwise I felt this was just not quite where it should be. Had the 2022 at 3 years old. Good but not quite top tier for me.

Light brown color. Big malty sweetness with lots of bourbon, maple, funky Belgian yeast and stone fruit. Super smooth palate with tons of caramel, maple bourbon, oak and stewed oranges. Super smooth alcohol well hidden. Full body. Excellent.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight, transient tan head. Red glints. Aroma of rye spice, darkish malt and a maple note. Flavor starts with a little maple, then quickly displays a lot of rye spice. Malt is dark - like quad or maybe barleywine. Neither dry nor sticky. Heat lurks beneath the flavors. Flavor is exquisite.
