Bottle at Mum and Dads, from Callans Dundalk, 30/08/14. Clear golden amber with a well appointed off white head. Nose is caramel malt, toasted bread, faint orange and citric peel. Taste comprises more caramel malt, bitter orange, candied sugars, light bready notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with faint hop bitterness. Not an IPA, kind of an ESB with a dose of hops or a lightly hopped APA. Sub par for style, no hops!

Deep amber color, small white head, gone before I could taste it, no lacing. Candied apple, caramel, floral hops, some orange, biscuit in both aroma and flavor. Thin oily mouthfeel, mild bitterness, sweet biscuit and apples. Finish is short. Forgettable.
