Making a triumphant return to the calendar for 2016, Black Bess is better than ever. A proper stout with a rich roasted malt backbone, and added oats for an extra creamy finish. British WGV hops accentuate the roasted malt tones by adding herbal, earthy notes with a hint of autumn fruit on the aftertaste.

Malt: Pale, Crystal, Chocolate, Oats, Roasted Barley.
Hops: WGV.

Cask at York brewery. The beer looks fantas. Black. It is so dark that light is not getting through the glass. Heqvy roast, some sugar. A little lactose maybe. The roasted character is prominent but there is also a mild hop profile as well.
