500 ml bottle. Nose is ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel. Lovely black with a huge, bubbly, brown head. Sweet ginger, spice, vanilla, chocolate, and more ginger. Very spicy and very sweet. Fun but not very drinkable. Far too sweet to really enjoy, although the nose was nice. Stop the lactose please. Drinks like a cloying mess.

Bottle from Boutilliers tap and bottle shop Coach works Ashford. 9.2% says The Original. Black beer lasting tan head. Ginger aroma. Yes a biscuit snap flavour to it. Hides abv well. Ginger cinnamon. Some chocolate. Ok finish. Touch of sweetness touch of milk. Ok.

500ml bottle. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is cinnamon and ginger. Taste is sweet with honey to start with ginger, cinnamon and roast on the finish.

Bottle from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Absolute gingerbread in the nose, light creamy coffee. Ginger,toffee dried fruit taste. Pleasant.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a brown head. Malt and light ginger aroma with caramel and spice. Ginger and toffee flavor with spice. Medium bodied. Ginger and toffee linger with light molasses and spice.

On tap at Velocity Wings, Sterling Virginia. Dark brown in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Aroma of ginger, chocolate and leafy hops. Flavour had toasty malts, some chocolate sweetness, subtle ginger warmth and a toasty, rich, finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to Darrin. Pours black with a thin brown head. Aromas of ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, malts, chocolate, honey cake. Taste is dark chocolate, coffee, cocoa, ginger, honey cake, caramel, vanilla.
