Introducing our latest creation—a beer inspired by the hoppy, full-flavored, and highly drinkable brews that Wylam is renowned for. We've ventured into new territory with HBC1019 hops, celebrated for their vibrant blend of citrus, tropical, and stone fruit notes. To add an extra layer of intrigue, we're experimenting Dynaboost (first test with Dynaboost was with Viva IPA for those who got the chance to try that) in the brewhouse. This hazy American Pale Ale features a rich malt base crafted from a harmonious mix of barley, wheat, and oats. Expect a balanced bitterness that sets it apart from many of our NEIPAs, delivering a delightful experience for both craft beer enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

Can from local AH XL supermarket. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, tropical fruit. Taste: Tropical fruit (mango, some pineapple and passion fruit), hopbitterness, malty backbone. Medium body, average carbonation. Feeling a bit thin bodied. Overall OK supermarket beer.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, smooth and mildly dry. Late emerging fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. HBC1019 presenting very coconut forward here, lime underneath, not so Sorachi like as per usual. A little tropical fruits and then a light crisp finish. Nice to get a slightly different presentation of this monstrous new hop. I really hope terroir spread doesn't rob of it of it's essence. This brew is a delight.

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a rich and lacing, off-white head. Super intense and spicy, tropical hop aroma. Medium body, again very intense and fresh hop accents, peachy and coconutty with a dry finish. Lovely. 081224

First beer of the To Øl advent calendar! Drunk with pumpkin pie, watching Norsemen, after attaching the mechanisms for my magic monitor-lift table. Fresh fruity lupulin nose, huge head on murky amber orange beer. Wow, great flavor for a pale ale, oily smooth hops with lots of pine and pleasant lupulin with no burn. Great start to advent!

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of coconut, lime, guava, mango. Taste is super juicy, tropical, coconut, guava, mango, zesty lime, citrus, candied peaches, sweet at first but finishes with a lovely bitterness. Medium bodied, soft and smooth. A super pale.

Can at home from Meny, Valby 28/09/2024 HBC 1019 is everywhere right now (and long may it continue) getting that peachy and tangelo fruitiness, creamy caramel coconut accents coming in, sweet dense oat laden malts, solid bitter hoppy into the close. Very nice.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, perfume, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, spices, perfume, citrus fruits, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.
