Sample (thanks fonefan!). Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some berries, and some alcohol with mild spiciness too. Flavour is spices, some berries and mild toffee tones. A bit strange at first but gets better sip for sip.

Bottle, 9.7%. Good aroma of brown sugar. Hazy amber colour. Small team head. The flavour is sweet work brown sugar, some vanilla, coconut, woody notes, raw wood. Sweet and peppery. And good.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Dark mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of port and caramel. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Leafs, caramel, raisins and port. Warming, quite bitter finish with some chalk.

Bottle from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours opaque dark brown with medium offwhite head. Aroma is malt, caramel, liquorice root, redcurrant and yeast. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter and faint salty. Body is creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and moderately sweet with notes of grain, malt, raisins, prunes, caramel, muscovado sugar, liquorice root and anise. Port wine is hardly noticable.

Hazy dark copper with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel and molasses, and a touch of dark fruit. Sweet malty flavour with dried fruit, molasses, dark sugar and licorice with a faint touch of yeast in the finish..

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with an off-white head. Nose is a little caramel and booze. Rich, malty body, I don’t really get the Port Wine but the finish is very boozy. 261219
