slightly cloudy orange, beige smooth head
spicy sweet aroma, pumpkin and spicy cake spices blend well with sweet malts to do a spicy sweet malty aroma.
flavor is sweet malty, sweet spicy, spicy cristmas cakes, there is a hoppy balance, but it is sort of hidden a bit, yet provides a lot of edge and fresh'ish'ness to the beer.
pretty good spicy strong ale, they went as far as one can go before it gets silly.

Bottle imported by my parents and shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 06.04.20. Clear dark golden. Diminishing off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of star anise, cloved, ginger and English X-mas cake and some malt and hops. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a rough, off-white head. Pumpkin pie spices in the nose - but not quite as massive as in Amaerican Pumpkin beers. Medium body, sweet caramel and fruit with nutmeg, clove, cardamom and cinnamon - or at least so I believe. Downplayed bitterness. If you like drinking your spicy Xmass cookies, then this is for you. Well brewed as such. 091219

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of spices, pumpkin, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, pumpkin, and spices, leading to a dry finish.
