Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth of Essex, 24/10/24. Hazed deep marmalade orange topped with a lasting just off white head. Nose is bitter orange, citric tinged straw, grapefruit, pine needle, grass, ripe melon. Taste comprises grapefruit, pine needle, melon, papaya, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Not bad.

Can. A mild haze on this paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, a very mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish pale malts, a fair old creamy sweetness, perhaps a smidge much. Crisp pine into juicy citrus, light, bright and juicy. Orange and mandarin especially. A mild bright grapey note means the hops are not a waste of time as they are in so many beers these days. Tidy tasty brew nonetheless.

440ml can, drank alongside the bright version. Murky yellow, massive white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, gooseberry, white wine. Taste is very juicy, tropical, vinous, mango, gooseberry, a bit of the dank stuff, some pithy bitterness. Medium bodied. Think this hazy version worked slightly better than the bright one, although strangely the Nelson wasn't as strong here. Both great to be fair.
