[ As Lines Line CA - Nelson Saison ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, moderate hoppy, pine, citrus, moderate yeast, saison yeast, peppery. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, saison yeast, banana, sweet fruit, fruity yeast, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Keg at the George and Dragon - Fitzrovia. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a thick, creamy off-white head. Prominent saison yeast in the nose, plenty of melon, grapefruit, a little hay, orange. Light sweet flavour with more over-arching saison yeast expression, melon, some rindy bitterness, crisp wheat, tangerine. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, more yeast, orange peel, grapefruit, apricot and melon. Slight grassy aftertaste. Really solid overall.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Dorata carica, lievemente torbida, schiuma media, non molto persistente. Al naso lieviti stressati, nota etilica, spezie, frutta gialla, vegetale, stalla. In bocca è squilibratissima, rozza, ai limiti dell’imbevibile, etilica. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Pessima.

Cask @ Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival XX, Espoo. Pours dark orange with a small bubbly head. Aroma of vinous notes, berries, farmyardy yeastiness and earthy notes. Taste is vinous, earthy and farmyardy with some hints of yeast and tropical fruits. Finish is vinous, earthy and slightly funky with some farmyardy earthiness and hints of fruits. Interesting.

Cask @Gallows real ale festival. Pours golden color with a thin white head. Mild funky, Belgian yeasty, fruity aroma. Flavor has ripe fruits, hops, floral notes, sweetness. Nice funkyness. Solid.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2017) The beer poured deep amber and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, earth and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were spiciness, fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, hoppy and bitter. A decent brew with rather poor aroma but nice taste.
