(Bottle) Clear brown with big off white head. Aroma of dark toffee with hints of veges and tea. Light body with plenty of loose carbonation. Taste of dark toffee, hints of tea, some pleasant bitterness. Easy drinking.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear copper colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is caramel malt, light resin, light citrus fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet with a smooth, rich, malt, fruity, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask (handpump) @ #MBCF17, [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ], Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill St, Petersfield, Manchester, Great Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Bootleg Urban Fox ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fudge, toffee, sweet malt, rye notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, fudge, caramel, sweet malt, light rye. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170120] 6-3-6-3-12

Bottle from Aldi. Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma earthy rye and malty fruity hints. Taste light sweet. Full body.

50cl bottle from Aldi, Bracknell. A bright reddish amber pour with a loose white head; lemony citrus aroma; rye body with a pleasant citrus taste, and some rye bread spice to finish. A pleasant rye ale.

Fra cask på Eagle Inn, Salford, Amber. Lavt skum. Nøttearoma. Samme smak. Litt tynn. Tørr ettersmak.

Clear light brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some skunky hop and toasted malt. A bit thin and watery.

Pours a clear coppery amber colour with almost no head. Orange peel and biscuit malt aroma. A dry bitter flavour; some biscuit malt but not a lot to it.

Cask at the Ape and Apple - Manchester. Pours clear, bright gold with a dense, lasting creamy topping. Lightly toasted grains in the nose, some leafy hops, bread. Light sweet flavor with bitter grain husk, orange peel, toasted caramel, leaves, earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Finishes with more husky grains, dried toffee, leafy bitterness and lightly toasted bread. A pretty OK bitter.
