Pint at the downtown brewery. Clear, dark brown, half flat black cola. Dusty, mellow carob, hint of smoke, brown bread. Minerally, soft smoke, subtle earthy sweetness, very mild char, low acid. Too thin. Okay.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine - The Rim, San Antonio, TX. Pours a very dark brown color with ruby highlights and a tan head with good retention. Barely any lacing. Aroma of roasted barley. Similar flavors of dark roasted barley and maybe a little dark chocolate too. Minimal coffee notes and minimal bitterness. Clean and smooth. Low carbonation. As advertised, it is a good easy drinking porter.

Blik gedeelt door KoenvD, geprobeerd met Roelzie1986. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur. De smaak is moutig, gebrand met tonen van koffie en hout.
