[ As Monkey Paw Sweet Georgia Brown ].Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, espresso, dusty coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, espresso, coffee, dark malt, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa and bready malt. Medium body, raisin, cocoa, light finish, good.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Clear deep brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts. A lot of earthy coffee. Touch of dark fruits. Espresso laden finish. Very coffee.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 3. Quite hazy dark brown color, average sized off-white to beige head. Heavy coffee aroma up front. Taste malts, coffee, espresso, roast and roasted malts, malt and coffee bitter. Very nice!

Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours very dark with a decent yellow - beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sticky, fruit cake, brown bread, treacle and earth. The taste is soft bitterness, brown bread, earthy, malt loaf, plum, prune, woody, rich, coffee grounds and earth with a dry. Medium body and soft carbonation. Toasty and earthy. Fair.

Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is sweet nutty hazelnut, smoked nuts, pecan, earthy fireplace. Palate is sweet, rounded, nutty earthy. Flavour is composed of, earthy smoked nuts, earthy, cold brewed coffee earthy, little brown sugars decent. Nice coffee bean character.
