12 oz from a six pack from the grocery store. Aroma has notes of cantaloupe, peach, flowers, orange. Pours hazy deep golden with a two+ finger cream white head with excellent retention. Taste is lightly to moderately bitter with some restrained malt sweetness. Standard, straightforward and solid NW IPA.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016, day 2 - London. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Bready malts in the nose, ripe oranges. Moderately sweet with more orange, rindy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Resinous finish, juicy oranges. Good one.

355ml can, free beer from our Airbnb fridge, Portland. Pours a deep clear amber, with a well presented white collar. Good west coast piney aromatics, continuing to taste with sweet caramel malt providing a good firm base, moderately piney hop notes coming to the fore. Good IPA.

Draft pour pint at Angelina's Pizza, Seaside. A semi cloudy golden pour with a rocky foam head. Really bitter IPA here, and is the simple overall assessment of this brew. A mix of floral and citrus hops on the nose. Biting orange like hop bitter from front to finish. Bold. Plenty of flavor. Intense. Quite heavy in that category in this session imperial IPA.

Taste comprises grapefruit, light dank hop tickle, mango, toasted malts, orange peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close lashed with juicy hop bitterness. Solid well balanced cask IPA.

Can, Belmont Station. Golden-amber. Bright, with a thin head. Nose is chewy chrystal malts, with piney hop. Old school Cali-style IPA. Hop character is slghtly cheesy. On the palate, it’s woody and a bit chewy, again with rich malts. Lots of bitterness, too, including some from the evident alcohol.
