(Keg at the brewery taproom, 20241122) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, vinous notes and liquorice. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had dark chocolate, sweetness and bitterness. Nice. Bit boozy.
