Keg @Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured amber in color, lasting white head. Caramel malts, bitterness, bisquity notes and some pine/resin. Quite heavy but ok balance.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20240302) The beer poured copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had pine, malts and biscuits. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, fruitiness, malts, toffee, biscuits and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. Tasty and balanced hoppy brew with strong malty body.

Caramely malty, herbal hoppy, piney and resinous with intense lingering bitterness, hints of dry bready earthiness and mild toffee. Heavy old skool throwback to times when IBU wars were a thing. Almost feels more like an English IPA than an American IPA.
