Brewed only once a year with ever-changing recipe, Tippa Double IPA is a special beer to us. It has been with us basically from the start, and is definitely one the highlights every year.
This year's version is a hazy NEDIPA. With proper bitterness level included, as always. It has dry body for high quaffability, but it's sturdy enough to avoid excess booziness. Ripe mango and pineapple dominate, but you'll find some dank from Strata and CTZ as well.
Fermentables: Golden Promise, Dextrin, Enzyme, Flaked Oat, Oat Malt, Dextrose, Maltodextrin.
Kettle/Whirlpool Hops: CTZ Extract, Mosaic, Strata, Citra Incognito.
Dry Hops (DDH): Azacca, Strata, Talus.
Yeast: Lallemand Nottingham

Smell of overripe fruit. Hazy golden clour, white head. Aroma of hops, overripe fruit, oat, some booze. Lively carbon. Medium bitter, lightly sweet. Good, but I’ve had better Tippas.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2023) The beer yellow and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness, tropical fruits and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, fruitiness, ripe fruits, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity spicy and bitter. Tasty.

Keg @ SOPP 2023, Helsinki. Poured hazy and light orange in color. Lovely aroma, pineapple and mango with lime notes. Juicy, citrusy, growing bitterness. Pretty amazing. All in place here.

0,2l on tap @ SOPP Helsinki 2023. Pours hazy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is sweet juicy malts. Flavor is sweet juicy malts with hops. Very nice.
