Draught@TCBW2023. Coppery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet wood, toffee, chocolate, alcohol and some dried fruits along with raisins. Flavour is quite much the same elements as the aroma, but in a very delicate balance.

Sample at TCBW 2023 Opaque colour, tiny off-white head. Wood sweetness in the nose. Full-bodied. Sweetness, toffee, bread in the flavour. Ok.

(A sample from a 0.75l bottle, at CoolHead Taproom, 20230516) The beer poured dark brown and clear. No head. Aroma had wood, vanilla, toasted malts and mild burnt notes. Palate was medium bodied, surprisingly dry, and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, wood, vanilla, alcohols, burnt notes and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, vanilla and bitterness. A nice strong brew with barrel notes.

A small taste on tap @ TCBW 2023. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with vanilla. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, vanilla, whisky, hops. Tasty.

Draught @ Coolhead, Helsinki. Smooth, malty and slightly sweetish with some caramel, toffee, syrup, hints of oak, wood, bourbon, vanilla and syrup. Soft and delicate, quite balanced but could've used a bit more barrel notes
