Kouwe jatten? Frisse fikken?! Bevries niet, brrroeders, want onze zijdezachte Milk Stout zal je helpen om de winter te temmen als een arctische cowboy. Hoe klinkt een licht gerooste arabica espresso met een romige shot ahornsiroop op een winterse dag? Dat dachten we al. Zeg ‘Ave, Frostbite Fuel’, een vol brouwsel dat het scherpe van de kou wegspoelt en een warme gloed achterlaat. Als dit recept je niet opwarmt, dan hebben je gewoon een steenkoude ziel.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Near black, coarse head. Caramelly nose. Sweet with medium to full body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Milk chocolate, caramel and pine. Low bitterness.

Can (from Alko web). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is roasted, some malty tones with a lot coffee tones. Flavour is coffee, roasted tones, some malty and mild toffee tones.

Draft at Het Klooster, Delft. Poured almost black in colour with a thin broken off-white head and some broken lace. The aroma is roasted malt, light red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, molasses, raisin, earthy, light liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really didn’t get any maple syrup or coffee.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch, Enid Street, 15/05/24. Black topped with a tan head. Nose is dark malts, light roast, charr, toffee. Taste comprises mellow roast, hint of coffee, charr, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay stout.
