Can (from Alko web). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is roasted, some malty tones with a lot coffee tones. Flavour is coffee, roasted tones, some malty and mild toffee tones.

Draft at Het Klooster, Delft. Poured almost black in colour with a thin broken off-white head and some broken lace. The aroma is roasted malt, light red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, molasses, raisin, earthy, light liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really didn’t get any maple syrup or coffee.

Smell of chocolate. Drunk from can. Aroma of coffee, tobacco, hops. Foamy carbon. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch, Enid Street, 15/05/24. Black topped with a tan head. Nose is dark malts, light roast, charr, toffee. Taste comprises mellow roast, hint of coffee, charr, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay stout.
