Velvet Raven is a classic oatmeal stout. I have a medium body with a hint of toasted caramel, chocolate and coffee. Brewed using four types of malt, toasted oats and original English hop varieties to deliver a smooth and very satisfying classic beer. Drink me nicely chilled any time you feel like it.

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Black with a large tan head. A bit tart with licorice, chocolate and some ash. Nothing special.

On tap at BRLO, Berlin. Comes with a deep dark color and a tan head. Nose is sweet, dried apricots, milk chocolate and some lighter coffee. Taste is a little watery, light body. Roasted malts and coffee flavors.

Draught @ MBWF 2018 [ Malmö- Öl & Whiskyfestival 2018 ], Malmömässan, Mässgatan 6, 215 32 Malmö, Sweden. [ As The Uncharted Velvet Raven ].Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, grain, hay, roasted, dark malt, dusty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, grain, dark malt, hay, light roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap@Ølfestival København 2018, Copenhagen - black pour with a tan head. Sweet ad slightly roasted malty with chocolate, caramel, some coffee roast, medium body, dark sweet malty roasted finish.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black. Small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Bitter and breadish, roasted dark malty. Dry and roasted finish.

Draught at KØ18. Citric aroma. Black colour. Creamy light brown head. The flavour is mildly roasted with a touch of lactose. Low to medium bitterness. Not powerful but well-balanced.
