Draught at SKAAL. A filmy beige head over a deep mahogany coloured body. Fair lacing down the glass.Promising aroma of black malts and pine. Nicely blended taste of piney hops, bread and dark dough. Roasted malty ending sustained by dark fruits. Well bodied. A nice one. (Copenhagen 22.11.2018).

Draught @ Fairbar, Nørre Alle 66, 8000 Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Åben Let Winter Come ].Light light unclear medium to dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, citrus, herbs, spicy notes, medicine notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, hop bitter, dark malt, medicine, herbs. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Not easy to drink .. do not know if that is the Fairbar influence or if it is the beer ... [20181108] 5-3-4-3-7

Første juleplanke på Skaal, København nov-18: mørk mahognyfarve med fint skum som varer. Deilige kryddertoner sammen med urter og bitter citrus. Lang, tør eftersmag med antydning til overmodne bjørnebær.
