Nice caramely barley wine

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma has complex bourbon barrels, dark dried fruits, brown sugar, and bready toffee. Flavour is rich, with tons of caramel malt, deep bourbon barrels, brown sugar, toffee, and bready malt. Rich, malty, and nice barrel character. Excellent.

Dark brown, thin head. The aroma kicks out a fair bit of bourbon up front, with figs and dates coming in a little bit afterwards. Good complexity, sugary, dates, some orange peel, a fair amount of barrel. Moderate bitterness but it really allows the sugars to come out. High quality.

500mL bottle. Pours black with a small white head. Fairly restrained bourbon barrels, boozy wheat, and burnt bread crust on the nose. Flavour has dry, woody bourbon barrels, grainy wheat malts, chewy dates. Very nice.

Draught@TCBW2023. Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is nutty, some toffee, bourbon, vanilla a hint of alcohol as well as some chocolaty mild dried fruity and plummy tones. Flavour is alcohol, bourbon, some toffee, nuts, mild dried fruits, figs and mild plummy tones with some slight chocolaty and mild alcohol tones to it. Still a nice sipper.
Lots of cellarmaker vibes, delicious delicious vibes. Caramel vanilla chocolate all over.

Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is toffee, bourbon, wood, vanilla. Slick body, toffee, wood, boozy, dark fruit, very nice.

Dark brown colour. Aroma of malt and spirit. The malt has a good depth, caramel sauce, toffee, sweet chocolate, and the followed by a bourbon charge (mellow, warm); all well integrated.

500ml (thx, Joe S.!) on Alex's porch shared with Ryan thanking the latter for the magician's performance for Elizabeth’s 7th birthday. Appearance: very dark copper with a beige head. Aroma: sweet, some dark fruits, American oak, caramel. Taste: along the same lines, moderately to high thickness and sweetness, lots of nice dark fruits. Overall: nice, multi-layered, and complex product from HM. Great job.
