Skovlyst Gold Tripel is a powerful golden Ale, fermented with a specially selected “Tripel” yeast. Its robust character and golden expression encapsulate a very special experience that brings to mind a well-balanced symphony of flavors. You get an Ale that provides a complex and yet gentle depth of flavor.

The beer is so strong that it almost slips into the world of wine in terms of taste, but every sip is a tribute to good beer, combining strength and elegance for fantastic taste journeys. Perfect for those who appreciate beer’s rich history and many nuances.

lemongrassy and sweet malty aroma, belgian yeasts, booze.. pretty nice aroma, perhaps a bit malty but does make me think tripel.
flavor is sweet malty, belgian yeasts, lemongrass, leathery alc. bitterness, there are some sweet ripe fruity notes resembling cheap dutch belgian copies of tripel, it is light on the belgian yeasts, but the yeast is there, and seem rough and raw , not polished, which suits the beer well.

not as overly sweet as other raters have noticed, but for sure a bit sweeter than the average tripel. quite tasty.
I'm usually picky with my tripel beers, but this one i find okay. perhaps this is a newer batch with slight changes to the recipe or perhaps it benefitted for staying in the bottle a few months more.

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of dried fruits, malt, and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of malt, dried fruits, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish. 6/5/6/3/12

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear golden with a fizzy, dissipating off-white head. Malty, boozy nose. Rich, sweet malty and fruity with discreet phenols. Harsh alcohol finish. More Malt Liquor than Tripel. 251224

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Almost clear deep golden, small head. Aroma of marzipan and banana. Very sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Sticky sugar, marzipan, butter and pineapple. Sticky warming finish. A sickly sweet mess.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, small head. Aroma is floral, vanilla, some wooden and mild spicy tones with a bit of estery elements too. Flavour is spicy, bananas, some wooden, mild vanilla and a bit alcohol to it. Kind of has Tripel to it, but lacks depth to be truly Belgo style. Still a pleasant one to drink.
