The experimenter spirit of the 19th century and the legacy of Antal Dreher return in this golden amber-colour, strongly malted, yet light Vienna Lager called Óarany. In the 20th century, several types of lager beers conquered the world, but only the Vienna Lager made it to Mexico. The type quickly became the most popular beer in the country, thanks to Santiago Graf, brewer master of Dreher, who continued brewing beer in emigration. Nowadays, however, it’s hard to find vienna lagers, so Óarany is our tribute to a rarely made beer type of historical significance.

PET bottle filled from the tap in their brewpub. Clear ruby body with a thin white head. Aroma and taste of bread, toast and grains with a hint floral hops and some caramel. Sweet and fruity with a touch of bitterness. OK beer.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, barnás-rezes szín, szűrt. Malátás, karamelles illat. Karamelles, vaskosan malátás, enyhén kénes, kissé zöldséges ízek. Közepesen testes és szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Nem rossz, de nem is nyűgözött le.
