Bottle from a Tesco in Budapest. Nose is honey malt bread hint of fruity citrus. Taste is corn honey, slightly metallic, leading to corn cereal, alcohol / peppery vodka note with a slight butterscotch note in the finish.

On tap. Clear golden coloured with quickly disappearing, off-white head. Fruity notes, and bitterness with well hidden ABV. Like a more bitter-than-the-average-lager. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary.

330ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally bready, pale and caramel malty as well as rather plain, grassy, minimally fruity hoppy aroma, hints of caramel, a touch of bread crust, mandarine, minimally buttery overtones. Taste is slightly bready, pale malty, sweet-ish caramel malty and mildly bitter hoppy, hints of caramel, bread crust, a touch of honey; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and minimally greasy palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Not exactly un-fresh, but placid, sedated, if not slow, clumsy - meh!

33cl bottle from Tesco hypermarket in Mosonmagyaróvár. Head is medium, tan, good retention. Colour is amber, light hazy. Aroma is malty, bready, toast, bit herbal. Taste is full malty base, bready, caramel, toast, berries touch, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation,good for the style, enjoyed for sure.

33 cl bottle picked up at an Interspar supermarket. Clear, golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with pale malts, grasses, and earthy, hoppy notes. The taste is light bitter. Full body. Drying fruity finish with bread and pale malts. Rich, strong Lager with enough bitterness to balance.

Tap at Karavella Sörbár, Pécs, Hungary. Pours a beautiful reddish amber, transparent, with very fine white foam. Aroma is malty and caramel, but also phenolic, nuts and figs. Body is partially dense, with average carbonation. The alcoholic tone, though, is excessive, in my view. Taste is a combination of medium bitterness and good malty sweetness. Final is average, but fairly long and bitter.

Ein Mitbringsel aus der gar nicht mal so schönen Stadt Göddöllö aus dem dortigen Riesen-Tesco. Die Bemerkung mit dem Imperial Wiener Lager halte ich wirklich für sehr treffend, denn das ist es im Grunde: Ein sehr tiefes, unglaublich intensives, malziges rotbraunes Bier. Es wird zwar als Bock beschrieben, aber von den bock-typischen beerigen Fruchtnoten hat es absolut gar nichts. Es ist unglaublich intensiv, mir allerdings etwas zu aggressiv und stark.
