Draught at Élesztö. Hazy, dark red to violet colored. AROMA- cherry syrup, touch of beer. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, slightly bitter, cherry syrup, traces of beer. Medium bodied. Amazing, another one...

hazy ruby colour, one inch of dense pinkish head; aroma of dried cherry and marzepan; taste of sour cherry juice and kofola (many thanks for pointoing this out, kapusil!); tasted in parallel with Soproni's meggy ale - ok-ok, it's not extraordinary, but definitely better than Soproni's one (at least, the aroma is quite fine and the taste has some sourness, too)

Bottle at a tasting at Beermalade. Quite sugary, loads of cherry character, but feeling artificial, quite raw. Balance is overwhelmed by fruit. Meh.

Bottled 330ml. -from Tesco Szombathely, Hungary. Darker red coloured, minimal off-white head, artificial cherry and glue in the nose. Sweet and almost artificial cherry candy taste with sweet finish of course. Had better had worse.

0.33l bottle. Hazy ruby body with an off-white head. It's like someone poured a huge amount of sour cherry syrup in a glass of Kofola. More like a soft drink than a beer. Not for my palate.

[ As FIRST Belgian Cherry ].Hazy medium brown - red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, cherry fruity, sweet cherry (cherry syrup), almonds. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, almond, cherry, sweet cherry, belgium yeast, sticky, sugary - cherry lemonade - cherry syrup. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
