From can purchased at Murphys Pour House to glass. Aroma is overt pine and resins. Moderate catty levels. Slight orange as well in the back. Malt sweetness appears in the back of the aroma as well. Pours clean and olde gold-orange with an off-white head that is moderate sized and fades rather quickly to a ring around the glass. Flavor leans into the resiny hops with orange and tangerine. Slightly viscous mouthfeel with sticky hop sauce. Moderate high bitterness, that works well with the ABV, hops and malt.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Dank, earthy aroma with grapefruit and pine. Grapefruit and pine flavor with backing malt. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with backing caramel.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours clear tarnished gold with a creamish white head. Seems old school - resin with a burnt rubber tang! Med plus body. Flavor is caramel supporting a lot of resin. Definitely some pale stone aspects, but the resin covers them over mostly. Hints of Demerara sugar, but not so much to render this at all undry. This is one of those beers that is so tasty the mouth twists around in response. Dry, bitter and tasty. What else does one look for?
