From bottle at DSJT at Cardinal 11.11.17. Dark copper to ebony. Foamy and persistent beige head and lacing. Aroma of dark malt and some sourness. Taste of dark malt, fruits, dried fruits and roasted nuts. Dry mouthfeel.

330ml bottle, lot 4717, bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Poured into a large Duvel glass. Crocheted lacing from a huge, fawn-coloured head slowly diminishing over a pitch black coloured body. Inviting smell of mid-sweet chocolate malts. Rather rich taste character of liquorice, earth, and chocolate. Developing taste profile with citrus peels to the ending. Fine depth. Smooth in the mouth. Like it. Among the best Norwegian Yuletide beers so far this season. (Tromsø 25.12.2017).

Big light brown fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is co2 stinging in the nose, weeds, sour grass, dusty cellar, booze, anise, sour coffee, yeast, bark. Taste is harsh sour-ish mineraly, weeds, metal tank, bark, sour grass, sour coffee, booze, burnt toast, anise, dusty cellar. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry boozy mouthfeel. Holy crap on a cracker...!!

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Delt med djoeye hos ham 28 Nov 17. Svart. Lysebrunt filmskum. Lakrisaroma. Smaken frukt & lakris. Uvariert. Alt for mye kullsyre som ødelegger smaken.

330 ml bottle, Lot 4717, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Black colour, dark brown in the highlights. Large beige head. Aroma of roast malts, liquorice and coffee. Roasty and slightly dry flavour, hints of lemon peel, notes of roast malts, coffee and dark chocolate, a hint of liquorice, some bittering hops. Good beer.

0,33 flaske fra statens helsekostutsalg på Kvaddå, hjemme: brunsvart med flott beige skum som varer til siste dråpe (film og kniplinger). Mørk malt, friskbrent espressokaffe, mørk sjokolade og snev av citron i både aroma og smak. Flott munnfølelse, og egentlig slank for sitt vitamininnhold, og med friskheten fra citronskallene er den farlig lettdrikkelig. elegant, syrlig bitterhet i den fine avslutningen.
