Bottle with a best after date of 28/12/12. Aroma is a bit grainy but after that its mostly a light sulfur and skunked note. No diacetyl, alcohol or hops in the aroma. A bit of a light fruity/perfume ester present. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a faint, thin white head that quickly disappears leaving a persistent film. No lacing or legs to this one. Flavor starts out with a faintly sweet grainy and cracker malt flavor. This quickly disappears though and in mid palate you get a hint of fruity esters. This too subsides leaving a bit of a skunked bitterness and low astringency. Finishes dry with a lingering astringent bitterness. Medium light body with medium high carbonation. No perceptible alcohol warmth. Medium low astringency. This beer isn’t flawed, it just isn’t good. 375ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington covered market. Pours a hazy yellow gold, with a bubbly thin head that quickly diminshes and a malty, yeasty, lemony aroma. Taste is fizzy malt, with some sweetness, and yeasty, through to a light dry hop finish. Light watery body.

33cl bottle shared from annam, Hcmc. Thin white head. Hazy blond pour.an ok pale ale.

Bottle at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 15/12/12. Hazy light amber/yellow with a thin white head that escapes to the edge of the glass. Nose is pale malt, grain, barley, a hint of smoke. Taste follows - all pretty basic stuff, hint of hops. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, bitter dry finish. Dull dull dull.

Pours cloudy golden into a shaker. White head quickly recedes to skim surface. Cookie and bread aromas. Crisp with toasted bread upfront turning to sourdough in the medium length finish.
