Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Murky yellow-orange. Tomato juice, celery, some chili, sour and salty.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma has a vodka-esque streak and spice through the funk. Didn't pick it up at first but the tomato is identifiable. Hazy red tinged yellow - on second thoughtsmake that peachy orange. Foamy white head soon almost entirely disappears. Medium sour. There is a metallic tomato taste alongside the vinous sourness. Light Worcestershire Sauce spice. Peppery kick in the finish. Some sweet fruitiness in there too. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long gradually more astringent finish. I am partial to a Bloody Mary and I don't think is too bad in terms of what the brewery set out to do.

9/1/2022. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours hazy bright orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma is herbal, spicy tomato, papaya, sea salt, a touch of chilli, celery and an edge of Brussels sprout. Moderate sweetness, light sour, a little saltiness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Interesting and well done but not for me.

Murky amber beer, thin white head fizzes down to a ring around the glass. Does smell a little tomatoey and peppery, I have to say along with another fruit I can't quite place. Flavour has sharpness up front with the tomato and some sweetness from the fruit, a clear pepperiness and there is some creep from the chilli too but it doesn't overwhelm the taste, just adds some hjeat to the back end. I'm not sure I'd want a lot of these but it's interesting and well balanced.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 03/01/22. Hazed orange with a good sized off white covering. Nose is herb, mixed tropical fruits, papaya, grass, vanilla. Taste comprises tropical fruits, tomato pips, grass, guava, herb, modest chilli. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced sour tang. Fun enough sour ... does what it says in the tin Bloody Mary wise.
