7 3 7 3 14 Bottle shared at Murphy’s Law. Brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, nutty notes, toffee and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Aroma brød, malt, karamell. Utseende mørk brun med lyst beige skum som varer. Smak karamell, sjokolade, malt. Fyldig og godt øl med god sødme. Flaske delt av DjOeye på Hamna O Bier, 50cl 8%

Bottle split at Chris & Ruths pre GBBF Shin Dig, cheers for all the shares, 05/08/17. Rich amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is biscuit, toffee, light spice, fruit rinds. Taste comprises brown bread, toffee, dried fruits, stale biscuit, raisins. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre and fails to deliver any depth fort the assigned boost level.

Fra fat på Ølhallen 6 Okt 17 i hyggelig selskap sørfra. Ultramørkebrun. Filmskum. Aroma av karamell. Smaken litt syrlig karamell. Tørr ettersmak.

Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours hazy reddish - brown with a small white head. The aroma is soft, fresh brown bread, dried fruits, fruit cake, wood, toffee, candy and light spice. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, wood, leather, varnish, spice, stewed black tea, tannin and dirt. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent enough for style, but lacks wow factor.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig. 02/08/2017. A reddy amber coloured pour with a a loose white head. Aroma is sweet nutty brown bread, kvas, red berries.. Flavour is composed of sweet nutty brown bread, rustic Rye bread, nutty, red berry. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Lingering bark, woody brown malts.

The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Light haze on this deep amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Soft mellow dark malts, some caramel. Little grain. Little dried fruits. Smooth dry finish. Ho hum!

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Light brown pour with white foam. Nose is boozy bitter biscuit. Taste is light rowans some booze bitterness, light toffee. Kind of harsh actually.

Bottle shared at Chris & Ruth’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2017 - Part 1. A clear orange brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of medium sweet dark malt, nuts, caramel. Taste of dark mild roasted malt, caramel, reddish malt, nuts, nice!
