1L bottle from the lcbo. hazy amber Pour with a big white head. A well balanced ipa, a nice soft, semi sweet bready malts, with a good dose of citrusy, resinous hops. Pretty straight forward but still good. Medium bitterness, green hop, and citrus finish.

4oz pour at their East Van taproom. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma has bright lemony sugars, maybe some pine. Flavour has a ton of artificial lemon sugars up front, resinous pine underneath. Clean, but lacks a good WC hop expression.

The aroma is reasonably bright hops and some piney sweetness, has okay foam on a clear yellow body. Flavour is nice bright hops with good sweetness. Mouthfeel is full with decent oiliness. This is a nice IPA, well made.

Goes under the name "Hopraiser" in a big 1L bottle with swingtop. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with frothy white cap, great retention and some nice lacing. Fresh, but milder than normal aromas of pine, grass and light malt. The taste is also milder, but goes up in strength in the finish with some nice bitterness from the grassy hop. Notes of grapefruit zest, but all well-balanced. An easy-drinking, middle-of-the-road IPA. Good for such a big bottle.

Hazy blonde..aroma is fresh fuggles, goldings...maybe American versions thereof but certainly more English than I was expecting for a "west coast" IPA, given they have another IPA on the menu. Lots of bitterness..grassy...the wrong hops for the job but there’s a lot of character and it’s well-made even if the concept isn’t ideal.

2022-02-13, can from BCL, 6-4-7-3-14=34
Golden colour, hazy. Mild aroma of piney hops, and a hint of malt. Dry mouthfeel, with mild flavour of malt, toffee, hay, a bit stale; correct bitterness, with some not better defined hop resins; the body gets weaker in the finish. Ok beer.
2014-01-07, bottle from Boundary Crossing, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Hazy golden color with small head. Mild aroma, where crispy malt notes are detected, lightly biscuity. Lean, dry, but with a good mouthfeel; pleasant malt flavor, moderately crispy and biscuity; correct bitterness level (medium-high), with some grassy feeling and light citrusy touch.
Fresh and very pleasant APA, not excessive.
2013-12-30, draught at Tap & Barrel, Coal Harbour, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Deep blond color with compact head. Very nice aroma of hops, fresh and fruity (7.5); would score more if the aroma was deeper. The mouthfeel is dry, but also smooth; the malt flavor has a toffeish tone, some caramel; very strong bitterness, with some hop resins, light fruity and flowery presence, but also a chicory-like bitterness in the final.
Not perfect but anyway a fresh good APA.
