Cask at King Charles I, Kings X. Clear copper gold. Thin foamy white head has lacing with staying-power. Aroma is chewy and malty. Peripheral citrus. Flavourwise combines chewy malts and peppery spice. Peripheral fruit include ingredients citrus. Light-medium bodied. Slick..Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice and certainly old school.

Half-pint, gravicask, at River Ale House. Patches on the surface of a clear reddish-brown body, fair lacing. Inviting on the nose with grassy hops and mild caramel malts. Quite similar taste of caramel, grass, and dried fruits followed by a nice bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Like it. (Greenwich, London 09.12.2023).

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 18 May 2022) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, toast, caramel and slightly dusty hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of dried apricots, toast, caramel, orange peel, nuts and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well made bitter. Nice one.
