An amber ale with a name reflecting that the Salcombe Ria is a haven for both British species of Seahorse. A sweet and smooth ale with a gentle spicy hop character, hints of burnt caramel and a smoked malty finish.

Cask at Sun, Stafford Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Nose is just a vague hint of lemon. Taste is spongey and fruity – like a bakewell tart ? Also plenty of grains and creamy texture followed by a dry and bitter finish. Not particularly memorable.
