ABV: 4.5%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, sweet malt, wood, light burnt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, burnt, roasted - chocolate, light woody. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, roast malt, chocolate and has a nice roasty sweet finish.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and lactose. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 191018
