On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small tan head. The aroma has coffee grounds and roasted malts. In the mouth it is sweet and tangy with dark fruits to the fore alongside roasted alts and hints of coffee. The coffee taste gets stronger as time progresses, and hints of chocolate and herbs also come through. A slight fruitiness in the finish. This is decent – not too much coffee.

Cask @ Wildcat Tap, Stirchley. Pours black, with a deep beige head. Aroma presents strong coffee, balanced coffee presence to taste alongside a nice malty profile and an underlying berry sweetness. Pretty good.

Half-pint, keg at Two-Tailed Lion in Leicester. Shared with Finn. Jet black in the glass inder a fawn-coloured head leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Prominent coffee aroma. Taste of coffee joined by a backdrop of dark chocolate and dark berries. Coffee finish as well. Satisfying. (10.02.2019).

Keg at Cherry Reds, Brum. Pours very dark brown with no head. Aroma is strong bitter coffee. Taste has to cola and yeasty coffee to start. Fruity coffee finish with a chocolate aftertaste.
