Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and tobacco. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily. 090724

Can from Alko, Helsinki. Black with a beige head. The aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and cacao. The taste is sweet and a little bitter.

Smell of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla. Black colour, brown head. Aroma of vodka, chocolate, red berries, burnt malt. Finishes with mudcake. Flat carbon. Slick texture. Sweet.

Dark brown colour, small brownish head. Coffee, tobacco, toasted malts in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Roasted, sweetish milky, coffee, vanilla and tobacco in the flavour. Soft but not my kind of porter.

Draught @ Vilja Beerfest 2023 Aroma has cocoa, licorice. Flavour has strong salty licorice, some alcohol and sweet malt. Too salty for my taste.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20200201) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and sweetness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash, cocoa powder, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, hops and bitterness. A pleasant burnt brew with rather stealth hoppy notes.
