Bottle at home, courtesy of Nisse666. Pours ruby with a quickly dissipating head. Nose is intense blackcurrant, deep and jammy and lots of tannins, funk, leather and oak. Taste has less fruits and much more funk than the aroma, and also some leathery, earthy notes plus a hint of acetic acid perhaps. It’s heavily sour, and rather sharp in that, but not overwhelmingly so. Light to medium bodied with a soft to average carbonation. Solid.

375 ml capped and corked bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. Red colour, large to moderate off-white / pinkish head. Aroma of blackcurrants, brettanomyces / farmhouse and lactic acid. Moderately sour flavour, notes of blackcurrants and brettanomyces. Not too sweet.

Bottled@PBF XII. Ruby colour with a small pink head. Aroma is berries, some wood and mild lactic tones. Flavour is fruity, some tartness and mild yeasty elements. Still quite tasty.

(Bottle) Red colour, slightly hazy, with frothy pinkish off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with black-currant, blood orange, barnyard and balsamic vinegar with raspberries. Fruity, tart taste with notes of oak wood, black-currant, wild raspberries, blood orange and a generous citric, vinegary acidity in the finish. No bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tart and tasty, with a generous acidity and a good fruit character. Very nice.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a hazy red with a pinkish head. Funky nose with the cassis blending in with heavy acetobactor and wild yeast - and then probaly something. Medium body, super tart, super dry - even salty! All sorts of wild shit in this one - maybe the acetic acid is a bit too dominant, but otherwise there's a lot going on in this complex blend of beer and nail polish. 120821
