Draught, 6.5% at Kaschk. Citric and funky aroma. Deep red colour, seems cloudy. Small stable pink head. The flavour is quite acidic with a good blackcurrant note. Refreshing and flavourful.

375 ml bottle. Pours a deep red with light head. Aromas of earthy black currants, blueberries, salal, and wheaty malts. Flavors follow same with bright tangy black currant, a bit of citrus and doughy wheat. Big and thick, well complemented by the tangy fruit.

19 May 2019. At SWAFFF!, Brussels. Cheers Anke & Rubin77! 2019 & 6,5% edition. Hazy red, small, slowly thinning, foamy, pink head. Aroma of black- & redcurrant, unripe strawberry, raspberry, wheat, lemon peel. Taste is medium to heavy fruity sour, very nice balance between blackcurrant, lemon peel & wheat, supported by soft doughy malts, slightly bitter & sweet (red fruit jam-like). Dry, tart, fruity finish, more berries, lemon acid & wheat. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice fruity sourness, good!

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Rubino sangue di piccione, intensa, schiuma rosa viva media. Al naso note di frutti rossi, lamponi, mirtilli, ribes, mentuccia. In bocca è acida decisa, citrica e tart, tagliente, leggermente sapida, molto persistente, leggero acetico. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Non male.

Nice purple red pour with a bit of pink foam on the top. Funky tart nose, quite tart actually, musty barnyard. Tastes tart, sour. Cassis coming out well, funky with sone umami saltiness. Quite dry finish, tannins. Nice and works well, fruit displayed exquisitely. Pretty good.

Sample draught (as Cassis 2019, Vild, 6,5%) @ SWAFFF! 2019 Brussels Craft Beer Festival (2nd day) shared with nathanvc and Anke, many thanks. F: big, off-pink, average retention. C: deep red, hazy. A: blackcurrants, blackcurrants leaves, bit red berries, red fruits. T: red fruits, blackcurrants, decent long lasting bitterness, nice puckering, refreshing, medium body and carbonation, very good balanced, enjoyed.

[ As Brekeriet Cassis (Vild) ].Clear medium red colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, dough, funky, barnyard, blackcurrant, tart. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, finky, barnyard, blackcurrant, oak, wood, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Flaska från SB. Riktigt tjusig mörk lila-röd färg nästan utan skum. Fin fräsch och syrlig smak och doft med massor av svarta vinbär, röda vinbär, mörka druvor, syrliga körsbärskärnor och en mix av friska och syrliga bär. Aningen funkig, syran åt det lite skarpare hållet för att vara Brekeriet och smakbilden är ganska stram. Mycket karaktär och mycket gott.
