ABV 4,8 on bottle. Pours amber with tall thin head. It’s not like most Czech Pilsners. Fruity and malty aroma with honey notes reminded me of British ales. Medium body. Sweet & bitter notes combined into taste composition. Nice and special.

50cl bottle. Golden colour with a white head with an average duration. Aroma is slihtly malty, hoppy and with hay notes. Flavor is bittery, malty, herbal notes and with a dry final with a decent bitterness. Carbonation and body are medium.

Normalerweise sind die elfgrädigen Biere die höherwertigen Biere im Gegensatz zu den zehngrädigen leichten Schankbieren (die Tschechen sind gerade besessen, Biere nach Grädigkeit einzuteilen). Dieses Bier war damals für mich zwar voll im Geschmack, allerdings nicht besonders. Jetzt trinke ich es wieder als Margaretener in einem Wiener (Margaretener) Hipster-Lokal. Als Elfgrädiges hätte ich es nicht erkannt, da es einen intensiven, bitteren Körper hat. Dier erinnert eher an ein Zwölfgrädiges oder leichte IPA. Kein leichtes Bier, aber ein aromatisches, hopfenbitteres Bier.

(Draught at Zly Casy, Pargue, 25 July 2012) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of grain, bread, hints of apricots and toast. Malty taste with toast, bread, fruity hints of orange and apricots, and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Hardly exciting, but quite decent.

Yeast version at Kulovy Blask, Prague. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with grassy and herbal hops. Sweetish malty flavour with a fruity touch. A hint of baking yeast.

50 cl bottle, courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and cornish. Bitter and straw. Cornish and light grassy into a bitter and dry finish.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has malt and caramel as well as hints of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, hops, malt, and hints of butter, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap. Clear yellow to golden colour,medium creamy head. aroma of hops,not much else going on. Medium bitter taste,medium bitter finish. Very average,though not bad.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized fluffy head. Aroma is bready malts, mild herbal and yeasty notes as well as some grassy hops. Flavour is grass, bread, some yeast and mild earthyness. Not all that bitter.
