on tap-pours a brown head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-coffee/molasses. Taste is rich dark malt-coffee/molasses/roasty, secondary hops bitterness. Not my style, but well done. Occasional.

Rich muddy brownish/black. Good sized dark brown head. DBCβs good beers are only slightly filtered. This one has a very even, round moderately dry roasted barley flavor. Some light, mildly sweet coffee sticks on the palate as well. Medium bodied, no hint of wateriness. Good flavors of roast, some smoke, slightly bitter finish. Their beers arent the definition of complexity, but they are well balanced, not watery, and very flavorful. Decent roasted coffee aroma for the style.
