Can. A very expensive one from the Nitrox pub in old Kotor. A slightly oily looking opaque dark brown - black beer, small tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation on the back end. Abundant chocolate malts, dark chocolate, milk chocolate and some of that weird Tonka pseudo chocolate. The marshmallow sweetness is obvious and is very well integrated. It never becomes cloying and balances out the mild dark chocolate bitterness very well. It's a shame that the best beers I have had in Montenegro are Hungarian imports but, Mad Scientist is brewery I will be paying attention to going forwards. Heavy hitting beers are nothing new but delivering them well integrated and with nothing out of balance is no trivial feat.

From tap at Van Moll Fest 2025. Very sweet with an aroma of candy sugar, marshmallow, chocolate, some alcohol. Long sweet sticky flavour, full mouthfeel. Rich, sweet, sugary.

Can picked up from Bierothek, München and consumed at home Sunday 3rd December 2023, Jude is here with us, we're listening to Ezra Collective - Where I'm Meant To Be, we had Vegetarian Mousakka. Shark eye black on the pour with a small film film of tan covering the top briefly. Big aroma of tonka beans dark chocolate (bitter cocoa powder), these transfer seamlessly into the mouth with a little vanilla, ok it's a touch boozy but this doesn't detract from the fact that it's a decent, nay very good impy.

1/5/2023. Bottle from De Bierliefhebber online store, shared at SBGP2. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, caramel, liquorice, dark fruits, marshmallow. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, oily, fading fizzed carbonation. Enjoyable.

Black beer, thin and filmy tan head. Smell has toasty malt, a little anise. Flavour has a big hit of Tonka up front which is an instant win for me. Some sugary lactose to give the marshmallow hint, toasty malt, anise, some booziness too. Rich, slick, warming, very nice.

Draught @ Koht Aroma has sweet candy, toasted malt amd licorice. Flavour has sweet candy, sugary tones, licorice, mild saltiness and alcohol. Quite balanced pastry actually.
