Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop. Pours clear golden, almost like apple juice, with a small white head that leaves lacing. Tart, grassy aroma with funk and wood. Not very much going on but clean and crisp. Taste is tart lemony with a bit of funk, green apples, grapes and a bit of grass. Clean, crisp and refreshing.

Light blonde with a touch of haze. On the nose, this has an odd mix of brett and hop...orangey and herbal hop, with a touch of pale malt. Has a nice orangey hop character, light brett. Dries out nicely in the finish. It’s tasty, though. Once you get used to that extra hop level, it’s really good stuff.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite funky, with considerable funky feet, some sweat, subdued dry hopping, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dry citrus hopping, sweat socks, earthy notes, and funky farmhouse notes. Finishes rather citric and dry overall. Despite the strange sweaty notes, it works very well together. Very good.

Draught at Row 34, 12/10/16.
Light golden with a hint of copper. Good clarity, perhaps just a touch of haze and a small, off-white head atop with moderate retention.
Juicy bacterial acids provide a lovely mix of papaya, lime, pineapple and whatnot without any overabundance of Brett to add too much apple, bread or medicinal notes. Light funk carries through to the finish which has appropriate amounts of malt to balance, adding honey, whitebread and light wheat-like notes. Very clean and with elegant acidity not seen in too many American sours; no punchy/twangy/metallic lactic character and very light on the acetic character. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it’s pleasantly effervescent and malty, yet with appropriate attenuation and a crisp, tart, very lightly puckering finish replete with limeskin, pineapple and other tropical fruit notes derived from the Brett. Great balance, with rich but not overdone/overwhelming flavors and a soft, yet drinkably crisp texture. Another homerun from Trve.

Pours hazy straw into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Sour funky lemon aromas. Soft with tart lemon, dusty yeast, and mild funk turning to marshmallow in the lasting finish.
