Bottle. Hazy golden, lowish head. Tropical fruit hop notes, lightly herbal and catty, metallic can notes - did they chuck them in with the pineapple concentrate? Medium light body, tangerine skin on the palate, Light dusty malt, allright bitterness with pineapple rings on top. Drinks a bit like a cookbook from the 70s.

Aloha :-) Don’t taste the pineapple. I prefer the other Kona beers ...

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/17/2018. Pours fairly crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy pineapples, fruit skin, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, pineapple, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy pineapples, fruit skin, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy pineapples, fruit skin, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, pineapple, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is a delicious fruited IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, pineapple, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Nice Mosaic, Chinook, Topaz, and Citra profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hops/fruit; nice pale malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on west coast style example.

12 fl oz bottle from 'Bitter Virtue', Southampton. Poured into my huge 'Judas' glass at home on 9th Nov 2018. Light haze to the golden body, wispy white head. Tropical fruit esters and flavours dominate this easy drinking IPA; sweet front with a slight bitterness in the finish. Liked it.
