Dogfish Head has been brewing off-centered ales for off-centered people since 1995, with inspiration from every facet of life - the spice cabinet, music, even art.
What you have here is a serious India Pale Ale shacking up and hunkering down with mango and apricots. At the same time! Romantic Chemistry is brewed with an intermingling of mangos, apricots and ginger, and then dry-hopped with three varieties of hops to deliver a tropical fruit aroma and a hop-forward finish.
It’s fruity, it’s hoppy, it’s tasty!

An orange beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness of apricot, fructose, also some notes of fruit candies. Taste has ripe fruitness, mango, medium bitterness, slao fructose. Medium bodied. Good beer, but it could be fresher.

Bottle. Amber bpody with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of raw grain, herbs, floral hops, fruit juice. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Too much raw grain and the mingling of bitterness, mango and ginger are off-putting for my tastes.

On tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a clear amber orange with a egg shell white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has tropical and ginger with a note of citrus rind underlying. Flavor has a good amount of ginger supported by tropical fruits and citrus.

Bottle. Clear coppery body, medium clumping cream head. Nose of fruit and lots of zesty, spicy citrus peel; also pine. Big, sweet, chewy body with lots of sticky fruit, bitter citrus peel, and strange herbal floral notes that come together oddly and don't ultimately deliver.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy copper color. Some resiny hop aroma and some vegetables. Good body, the malt base is a bit sticky, lightly fruity, lightly sour.
Messy.

Bottle - Regardless of the dick move by the owner/brewer I am rating it. F*ck the man, but now they are the man. Light sweet fruity notes. Clear gold with a small beige head. Caramel sweetness and light fruity notes. Meh.
