New England style pale ale with a grain bill heavily based on protein adjuncts. A vibrant hops nose and a very pale straw color and hazy/opaque appearance. A low carbonation level will round out the palate, making it smooth and drinkable without being cloying.

ABV has been reduced to 3.4%, with a potential change in brewery being used.

Can from a Beer52 four pack being sold off cheap at Waitrose. Pale hazy yellow with a white head. Honeydew melon and lemon. Sweetish up front, mild bitterness, drying finish. There's a hint of some off flavour or other in the aftertaste but I can't quite put my finger on what it is; that aside I quite enjoyed this.

Unusually bland. Vague lemon rind notes, some bitter straw, grass, lean pale malts, grain. There’s also an off background note, butyric-like. Lively carbonation. Not much going on here, at all.

24/12/2024. Can from Beer52, a secret Santa Christmas gift. From the photo this appears to be exactly the same beer Chris had from the same batch of Beer52 peddled beers with the same label and hops but it’s 3.4% not 4.2%. Odd, perhaps one of the cans had a typo? Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is weak tropical fruits, grassy, husky, sweaty. Very watery. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Dryness to finish. Okay.

Can from Beer52. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of white bread and dried grass. Flavour of grapefruit and lime. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A pleasant, simple pale.
