Barwa ciemna, piana beżowa, opada do obrączki. W aromacie wyraźnie wyczuwalna trawa żubrówka, zest jest tutaj mniej wyczuwalny. W smaku również króluje ww. trawa do tego dochodzą lekkie nuty kawowe. Gorycz na zaskakująco wysokim poziomie. Jakoś nie pasuje mi ta trawa do trunku typu piwo.

Another one in the new wave of Baltic porters, the old stout / porter variant rediscovered by the nouvelle vague of Polish craft brewers. Medium thick, slowly opening, pale yellowish beige head, jet black robe. Aroma of black bitter chocolate, cloves, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, burnt toast, haemoglobin, bayleaf, something coughin syrup-like (pharmacy store effect, in a sense), glue, brownies. Sweetish and sourish onset, dried fig, soft carbo, thin umami edge; deep nutty and toffeeish malt body, toasted and eventually coffeeish bitter, overwhelmed by cinnamon-, clove- and even eucalyptus-like spicy impressions, ethereal and a bit too much so for my liking (or for the whole style to begin with); warming, gin-like alcohol and herbal hop bitterness, lingering roasted bitterness. Pleasant enough but as said, a bit too ethereally spicy for me.

Butelka 330ml (BB 05.01.2019). Czarne, nieprzejrzyste z drobną, brązową pianą. W aromacie ciemne słody w połączeniu z trawą cytrynową i zestem z limonek dają aromat świątecznego piernika choć z drugiego planu przebija się czysty alkohol, niezbyt przyjemny choć jest to delikatna nutka. W smaku również piernikowe ale delikatna nutka alkoholu z aromatu jest bardzo wyraźna, jakbym pił piwo z pięćdziesiątką. Samo piwo bardzo fajne, świąteczne ale alkohol je dominuje i degraduje. Zdecydowanie nieułożone, alkoholowe co psuje jego odbiór.
